Greene County Fair
It is with great sadness and regret that the Greene County Fair Board has cancelled the 2020 Greene County Fair, originally scheduled for August 9-15, 2020. It is of the upmost importance for the health and safety of our fair goers, staff, concessionaires, sponsors, entertainers, families, and others. Additional factors that weighed in on the decision dealt with the uncertainty regarding gathering restrictions, livestock and other participation, logistics with our carnival partners, entertainment participation, volunteers, and the strain on our local economy.
We understand that there will be mixed feelings in the community and hope all understand how hard this decision has been. We are looking forward to the 2021 Greene County Fair and seeing all of you.
The Fair Board along with many individuals, organizations and businesses are working on something for the 4-H and FFA members. We don't have the answer now, but as soon as we do, we will share it on our Facebook page and this website.
